A short film
This feature presents the work of an English graphic designer, a Spanish motion designer and a French musician. All have never met yet they have made something in common: the Pluie d'Étoiles project. David Johnston responded to the silent theme with a distorted moon. Fernando Favier created a soundtrack based on the distorted moon. Finally both the image and the soundtrack were sent to Tomás Peña in Madrid who combined both to make a short film.

Process
This project was of experimental nature. We wanted to reverse the process of making a short film. The 3 participants did not communicate with each other during the making of this project. A graphic designer submitted his response to the silent theme. 'Un chien Andalou' was both an inspiration and a tribute to Salvador Dali and Luis Buñuel.
